Sweet Potato Biscuits

A beautiful colored biscuit that your family will love. These are easy to make.
Ingredients
- 4 Tablespoons shortening shopping list
- 1 Tablespoon sugar shopping list
- 3/4 cup hot mashed sweet potatoes (can be cooked in microwave) shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups flour shopping list
- 4 teaspoons baking powder shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 2/3 cup milk shopping list
How to make it
- Melt shortening and sugar in warm mashed sweet potatoes. Add other ingredients. Roll out and cut with biscuit cutter or a glass. In a greased pan, bake at 400 degrees F. for 15 minutes or until brown.
