How to make it

  • Combine lentils, bulgar, and water in a pot. Bring water to a boil then let simmer. Add Salt and pepper to taste. (You will cook this like rice) Water should be fully evaporated in about 15 minutes.
  • Mean while, cut onion, heat oil then caramelize the onion in the pan. If heat is too high it will burn, if it is too low it will just get translucent. Once all done pour the reminder oil over the lentils which are now all cooked.
  • To serve, spoon lentil into place and top with some caramelized onion.
