How to make it

  • Separate eggs.
  • Beat egg whites with 6 T. of the above sugar.Set aside in refrigerator.
  • Cream butter and sugar in electric mixer till light.
  • Add yolks (2 at a time).
  • Add flour and cream alternately.
  • Beat until as light and fluffy as possible.
  • Add vanilla.
  • Add egg whites to mixture using low speed of mixer.
  • Mix well. Pour batter into lightly greased tube pan.
  • Bake @ 325 degrees for 1 hour and 25 minutes.
  • Note! Cake should fall.
