How to make it

  • preheat oven to 350
  • unroll one of the crescent rolls and lay on baking sheet
  • In a large skillet, saute the mushrooms and green onions in 5 tablespoons of the butter
  • remove from skillet and place in a bowl
  • brown sausage in the skillet and place in bowl with mushrooms
  • to the bowl add the black olives, soften cream cheese, black pepper, and the creole spice and mix well
  • spread this mixture onto the crescent rolls
  • sprinkle with 1/2 of the cheese
  • Open 2nd crescent roll package and lay on top of this mixture
  • melt remaining butter in microwave and brush over the top of the crescent rolls
  • sprinkle with remaining cheese and place in oven
  • bake 30 minutes or until lightly browned
  • remove from oven and allow to sit to firm up a bit(around 5 minutes)
  • cut and serve
