Breakfast Strudel

- 2 packages crescent rolls shopping list
- 2 (8 oz) soft cream cheese shopping list
- 1 roll breakfast sausage(Jimmy dean Mild) shopping list
- small can chopped black olives shopping list
- 1 bunch green onions shopping list
- 7 tablespoons butter shopping list
- 8 ounces sliced mushrooms shopping list
- dash cracked black pepper shopping list
- 8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese(divided) shopping list
- dash creole seasoning such as Tony's shopping list
How to make it
- preheat oven to 350
- unroll one of the crescent rolls and lay on baking sheet
- In a large skillet, saute the mushrooms and green onions in 5 tablespoons of the butter
- remove from skillet and place in a bowl
- brown sausage in the skillet and place in bowl with mushrooms
- to the bowl add the black olives, soften cream cheese, black pepper, and the creole spice and mix well
- spread this mixture onto the crescent rolls
- sprinkle with 1/2 of the cheese
- Open 2nd crescent roll package and lay on top of this mixture
- melt remaining butter in microwave and brush over the top of the crescent rolls
- sprinkle with remaining cheese and place in oven
- bake 30 minutes or until lightly browned
- remove from oven and allow to sit to firm up a bit(around 5 minutes)
- cut and serve
