How to make it

  • Season meat with salt and pepper and sear each side in hot oil; add onions. Blend together remaining ingredients and pour mixture over meat. Cover and simmer for 6 hours, until meat is tender. Skim off fat.
  • We poured the flavorful braising liquid over steamed jasmine and it was perfect.
