Tzatziki Inspired Strawberry Mint Dip
From sckewer 10 years agoIngredients
- 6-8 medium sized strawberries shopping list
- 350 mil yoghurt shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic shopping list
- 1 teaspoon sherry vinaigrette shopping list
- 1/2 inch of lemon grass shopping list
- 2 table spoons of fresh mint shopping list
- pinch of sugar shopping list
How to make it
- If you don't have greek yoghurt, take the regular stuff, a bowl, a fine strainer, or some cheese clothe. Strain the yoghurt over the bowl for about 45 minutes in the fridge.
- Chop up your strawberries or grate them and strain them over a bowl for 45 minutes since you're already waiting on the yoghurt anyway.
- crush the garlic with the sugar, lemon grass, and mint.
- After the yoghurt and strawberries have thickened up, combine all the ingredients. Let it stand in the fridge for at least an hour, and then readjust the flavours to your liking.
- The yoghurt sweat that was left behind in the bowl is good for using as a starter for a new batch of yoghurt. You could save the strawberry juice for smoothies.
