How to make it

  • Brown ground beef and sausage in Dutch Oven
  • Cook lasagna noodles just until they are able bend but do not cook thoroughly...remove from water.
  • Remove meat from dutch oven and drain if needed.
  • Pour sauce into meat and mix
  • Coat Dutch Oven with vegetable oil
  • Line bottom of Dutch Oven with single layer of noodles
  • Place a layer of meat/sauce mixture over noodles
  • Place a layer of cheese over meat
  • Repeat Layering until noodles and meat have all been used
  • Apply a generous layer of cheese on top and cover
  • Place Dutch Oven on top of 12 hot coals
  • Place 16 hot coals on lid of Dutch Oven
  • Turn Dutch Oven 1/4 turn every 15 minutes
  • Total cooking time is about an 1 and 20 minutes
  • Top layer of cheese will be slightly golden and crispy
  • ENJOY!!!
