Peanut Butter Squares

I got this recipe from a friend who works for the school system here these were a special treat when they were served at school brings back those childhood memories :)
Ingredients
- 1 Quart (4 Cups) peanut butter shopping list
- 1 Cup Melted butter shopping list
- 4 and 2/3 Cups powder sugar shopping list
- 1 Cup brown sugar shopping list
- 1 Tbsp vanilla shopping list
How to make it
- Mix well and press into pan (pan size depends on how thick you would like bars to be; I use a 13x9)
- Place in refrigerator
- Melt 1 bag Chocolate chips with a little bit of butter ( i only use approx 1/2 Tbsp for mine)
- Spread over peanut butter mixture and place back in refrigerator
- Cut into squares when hard (I let mine sit about an hour)

When you melt the chocolate chips how much butter do you use?The reason why I am asking.I don't want to over due it on the butter.I need an amount that you use.
