Molasses & Pecan Flap Jacks

- 400g oats shopping list
- 150g Soft Light Muscavado sugar shopping list
- 100g coconut oil shopping list
- 50g butter shopping list
- 150g Chopped dates shopping list
- 1Dessert Spoon Black Strap molasses shopping list
- 150g pecans shopping list
- 3 Tbsp water shopping list
- 0.5 tsp nutmeg shopping list
- 1 pinch salt shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat the oven to 200C
- Line a large tin with greaseproof paper or two small ones (to fit 9 portions)
- Melt the oil and butter with the water, dates, sugar, salt, nutmeg and molasses in a medium sized pan over a low heat about 5 minutes
- Stir in the oats and pecans so the oats are thoroughly coated.
- Shape into roughly 12 round portions or 9 for bigger appetites!
- Bake for 10 minutes
- Leave to cool
