Ingredients

How to make it

  • Cube croissants into small pieces and place in a bowl
  • In another bowl combine cream, eggs, sugar and vanilla and whisk well.
  • Add the croissants and stir well to get mixture covered well.
  • Let sit for about 15 minutes so croissants absorb the liquid mixture.
  • Then stir in fruits and chocolate chips
  • Place in a well buttered large 9x13 or 10 x 14 pan
  • I divided my mixture into 2 biscuit pans, so my pudding of course will be less thick and take less time to bake.
  • Bake 350F for 45- 60 minutes or set and puffed and golden
  • Serve warm or room temperature.
  • Dust with fresh grated nutmeg
  • This also may be served cold and is quite good when chilled- tastes like a bakery pastry!
  • Whipped cream, ice cream and the white chocolate cream sauce are optional toppings to be tasty fruit studded pudding.
  • Sauce:
  • Heat cream in a sauce pot till a near boil
  • Add the chips, stir and remove from heat, stirring until sauce is smooth.
  • Drizzle sauce over pudding in pan or cut pieces from the pan
