How to make it

  • cook bacon until crisp, crumble and set aside
  • cook beef and onion in large non stick skillet over medium heat until beef is browned, stirring to crumble beef.
  • place bacon, beef mixture, lima beans, and next 6 ingredients in a 3.5 quart electric slow cooker. stir well. cover with lid; cook on high heat setting 1 hour. reduce heat to low setting, and cook 3 to 4 hours.
