Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons margerine or butter
  • 1/4 cup bisquick
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground sage
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 chicken bouillion cube

Directions
  1. heat margerine in a 3 quart saucepan over low heat until melted
  2. stir in 1/4 cup baking mix, the salt and sage until smooth
  3. gradually stir in 1 cup water, the milk and bouillion cube. heat to boiling, stirring constantly. boil until thickened.
  4. works nicely over rice, broccoli or chicken
