How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 450° Remove the dough from the refrigerator (I remove mine a couple hours before using).
  • Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat. Add the mushrooms and onions and stir briefly. Cover the pan and cook for 3 min. Remove the cover and cook for 3 to 5 minutes longer, or until almost all the liquid boils off. Add the salt and remove from the heat.
  • Form the dough into a ball and roll or pat out on a large, lightly floured (or cornmeal) baking sheet until no thicker than 1/4”. Spread the pasta sauce on the dough and sprinkle with the cheeses. Top with the mushrooms and onions.
  • Bake for 25 min. or until the crust is lightly browned and the cheese is bubbly. Cut into 8 slices.
