How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • grease 2 9x13 pans
  • Mix gran. sugar, eggs, milk in a bowl
  • add vanilla
  • pour over cubed or torn staled french bread
  • let stand 10 min.
  • In another bowl mix raisens , brown sugar, butter and pecans
  • pour bread mixture into 2 pans
  • sprinkle brown sugar mixture over the top and bake for 35-40 min.
  • or until set.
  • remove from oven
  • For sauce
  • Mix powdered sugar butter, eggs, and vanilla in a sauce pan.
  • Over med heat stil til sugar is dissolved.
  • Add brandy and cook down.
  • Pour over bread pudding.
  • I like to put back in oven til bubbly
  • Then serve while warm..
  • Delicious!! Warm or cold!
