Mushroom Soup

- 5 cups sliced mushrooms shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups chicken broth shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped onion shopping list
- 1/8 tsp thyme shopping list
- 3 tblsp butter shopping list
- 3 tblsp flour shopping list
- 1/4 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper shopping list
- 1 cup cream shopping list
- 1 tsp sherry shopping list
How to make it
- In pan cook mushrooms in broth with onion and thyme until tender 10-15 minutes
- in a blender puree the mixture leaving some bits of mushrooms, set aside
- in pan melt butter, whisk in flour until smooth add salt and pepper, milk and veggie puree stir and bring to boil cook until it thickens
