Tomato Soup

- 4 cups chopped fresh tomatoes shopping list
- 1 sliced onions shopping list
- 4 whole cloves shopping list
- 2 cups chicken broth shopping list
- 2 tblsp butter shopping list
- 2 tblsp all purpose flour shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
- 2 tsps white sugar shopping list
How to make it
- In pan combine tomatoes, onions, cloves and chicken broth bring to a boil and gently boil for about 20 minutes to blend all the flavors.. Remove from the heat and run the mixture through a food processor into a large bowl or pan
- In the same pan melt the butter over medium heat, stir in the flour to make a roux cooking until roux is a medium brown, gradually whisk in some of the tomato mixture, so no lumps and stir in rest, season with sugar and salt, adjust to taste
