Spicy Asian Dry Rub

I enjoy making spice mixtures and realized I had none on my shelf with an Asian influence. In looking around I found there were two rubs: one sweet and one spicy. This is my take on the spicey. First application was to a pork loin roast. Read more I rubbed it down and let it sit for a day then wrapped the pork loin in foil to roast and keep the moisture in. See less
Ingredients
- 4 teaspoons dried basil shopping list
- 4 teaspoons dried mint shopping list
- 2 teaspoons salt shopping list
- 2 teaspoons ground ginger shopping list
- 2 teaspoons paprika shopping list
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground red pepper shopping list
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper shopping list
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground white pepper shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder shopping list
How to make it
- Combine all of the ingredients and mix well. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
