How to make it

  • Butter your parchment paper in the pan,that your candy will stand.
  • In a deep sauce pan bring the water of choice,sugar,corn syrup to a hard crack stage...300 degrees south !
  • Remove from the fire and add the red food coloring,and cinnamon oil.
  • Cool it!
  • Then whack it with a wooden spoon,it will crack into pieces,or,use a tip of a sharp knife to break the candy in bit size pieces.
  • Place the confectioner sugar in a ziplock,shake to coat.
  • ~ This Candy is Dandy...serve it in the den by the flickering fire light...and if you do not have a oenophiliacs on hand to dictate a whine then the drinks below would be a devil of a good choice ~

  • ~ Devil's Candy-Cane ~
  • 1/2 oz Rumple Minze Peppermint Liqueur
  • 1/2 oz Bacardi 151 Rum
  • 1 Splash Grenadine Syrup
  • Mix ingredients together in a shot glass, carefully ignite and allow to burn, then extinguish and shoot.
  • ~ Hot Damn ~
  • 1 Part Schnapps Cinnamon...Hot Damn
  • 1 Part Sour Watermelon Pucker
  • Add both in a shot glass and drink...for added effect...Float Bacardi 151 on top and light.
  • Make dang sure you blow out the flame first!
