How to make it

  • Bring to a boil in pot butter, Crisco, water, cocoa. Stir in sugar and flour then add buttermilk, soda, vanilla and eggs. Pour in thinner cake pan and bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees. For topping: heat butter, cocoa, milk then add powdered sugar, vanilla and nuts. Pour on cake in pan right out of oven while it is hot.
