- 4 ounces 'each' of Dried: Figs,apricots,and Plums shopping list
- 6 ounces almonds,slivered and toasted shopping list
- 1/4 Cup Confectionery Sugar shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon 'each' of caraway seeds,Fennel Seeds,anise seeds,all toasted gently,but completely shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon cardamom,ground shopping list
- Pinch the Kosher Salt shopping list
- 1/4 Cup Honey,Clover shopping list
- 1 Cup Sugar,Coarse shopping list
How to make it
- Place the dried fruit and almonds in the food processor and pulse for about twenty five times,or,until the fruit and nuts are chopped into small pieces...but before the mixture becomes a ball.
- Combine the confectionery sugar,seeds,salt in a mixing bowl,then had the nut and fruit mixture,plus the honey...mix with gloved hands until well introduced.
- Scoop up this glutinous mound of sweetness.
- Making into about one fourth ounces and rolling into balls.
- If you are serving immediately...then roll into the coarse sugar and serve...but,if you are not serving immediately,then put the balls on a cooling rack and leave uncovered until ready to serve...then roll in the coarse sugar prior to serving.
