Fruit Crisp

- 3/4 cup brown sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup Flour shopping list
- 1/2 cup Oats (avoid quick cooking oats and use old fashioned) shopping list
- 1/3 cup butter shopping list
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract shopping list
- 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt shopping list
How to make it
- In a large mixing bowl add flour, sugar, oats, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and vanilla and stir together.
- Cut in butter using a pastry cutter
- Topping is done when all ingredients are incorporated, and are in small clumps
- Grease a 9 inch round (or 9x9) baking pan with Crisco or Butter.
- Add fruit filling that was made 24-48 hours in advance.
- Pour sugar crisp on top of fruit.
- Bake 375 deg F for 30 minutes.
