- 6 Eggs...separated and coast to room temperature shopping list
- 2 and 1/4 Cups Superfine Sugar...divided shopping list
- Small Pinch Salt shopping list
- 1 Pound butter...room temperature shopping list
- 1 teaspoons Pure Homemade Vanilla shopping list
- 1 Cup Milk...Powdered shopping list
- Water...bring to a boil shopping list
- Oh Yeah!..Rum,brandy,Whiskey...or...Your Choice shopping list
- Nutmeg...Can't forget Nutmeg...or...Crimson cinnamon,cloves,allspice shopping list
How to make it
- I triple...or...on occasion quad triple the recipe.
- Beat the egg yolks and softened butter in a bowl until thick...set aside.
- With Kitchen Aid beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
- Using a spatula,fold in one half superfine sugar,very slowly into the prepared egg whites.
- Using the spatula,fold the beaten egg yolks into the egg whites with the sugar.
- Add the remaining one three fourth cup of superfine sugar,salt,and vanilla.
- Still using the spatula,slowly and gradually fold in the powdered milk
- Store covered in the refrigerator,until the stroke of midnight.
- Now is the time to dust off that mug with all the fireworks and...Pour in
- three tablespoons of prepared mix into the mug,add boiling water to fill three fourths full.
- Add one or two ounce of either...Rum...Brandy...Whiskey...Cognac...or...Whatever liquor you desire.
- Stir until well blended,and sprinkle with nutmeg.
- Now...plan to walk or fly home :o)
