How to make it

  • • Rinse the poha well in a colander or strainer. Rinse the poha under running water, don’t soak them in water. Poha grains should be soft and moist but not mashed after rinsing.
  • • Mix salt to taste to the poha and mix gently
  • • Heat oil in a pan.
  • • Crackle the mustard seeds in the oil and then add asafoetida and curry leaves.
  • • Sauté for sometime and onions and continue to sauté till the onions become translucent.
  • • Add green chillies & roasted peanuts and mix.
  • • Add turmeric powder and mix.
  • • Sauté for few more minutes and add potato and poha.
  • • Stir and mix the poha lightly till the poha is heated through.
  • • Add lemon juice and mix lightly.
  • • Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
