Sausage and Mushroom Omelet

- finely chopped ham, sausage meat, grated parmesan cheese,finely chopped garlic&onions,sliced mushrooms, red pepper coarsely chopped, 1 egg, meat drippings or 1 tsp butter, 1/2 tsp dried basil leaves, 1 tsp salsa tartufata, italiam breadcrumbs, 5 tbsp water or meat stock shopping list
How to make it
- 1. Heat oil or butter in skillet.
- 2. Saute garlic and onions until golden brown.
- 3.Add ham, sausage meat and mushroom until browned but not well-done. See Photo
- 4. Add water/meat stock, cover and simmer for 2 minutes. Add red pepper.
- 5. In a small bowl, beat egg. Combine basil and grated cheese.
- 6. Pour in egg into pan and let it set for 3 minutes under medium heat.
- 7. Serve warm on toast, rice or slice bread. See Photo
