How to make it

  • Place a steamer insert into a saucepan and pour in enough water to reach just below the bottom of the insert;
  • Bring the water to a boil, add the chard and steam for some 2 to 3 minutes or so until just tender;
  • Drain and set aside;
  • Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat, add the raisins and pine nuts and cook for a few minutes until the pine nuts turn golden;
  • Add the chard, season with salt and pepper, and continue cooking, stirring constantly until the chard has been heated through;
  • Serve
