Cheese Pizza On Sourdough

Kids don't have to be left out of the fun associated with pizza making, helping to make the sauce with fresh herbs and sprinkling the mozzarella onto the sourdough and whole wheat crust I made at home. Can you ASK for a better snack?
Ingredients
Sauce:
- ¾ cup plain tomato sauce shopping list
- 1 (6-oz) can tomato paste shopping list
- 1 tbsp tamari shopping list
- ¼ tsp garlic powder shopping list
- ¼ tsp onion powder shopping list
- ½ tsp oregano shopping list
- 3 tbsp minced fresh basil shopping list
- ½ tsp sugar shopping list
Pizza:
- 1 recipe Herbed Sourdough Pizza Dough, prepared for one thicker-crust pizza shopping list
- 300 g part-skim Mozzarella cheese shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oven to 400°F
- Combine all the "sauce" ingredients in a bowl and spread onto the par-baked crust.
- Top with cheese and anything else you wish!
- Bake for 10 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and melted.
*NB: If you love the crispy cheese bits around the edges, you can broil the pizza for 2 minutes after baking.
