Spicy Meatballs

- 1 lb ground meat - lamb, beef or turkey shopping list
- 1 tbsp cornflour shopping list
- 1 onion minced or very finely chopped shopping list
- chopped coriander leaves shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
- 1 tbsp garam masala shopping list
- 1 tbsp garlic and ginger paste (with or without hot chiles added) shopping list
- 1 or 2 chopped green chiles or 1 tsp chili powder shopping list
- 1 egg or some yogurt to moisten meat if very lean, esp. if using ground turkey. shopping list
How to make it
- Mix all ingredients into the meat and ensure that the mixture is moist and sticky.
- Using a little oil on your hands, roll the meat mixture into balls - not too large or they will not cook inside before getting overdone on the outside.
- Heat some oil in a medium sized frying pan and gently drop in 3 or 4 balls at a time.
- Cook until dark brown in colour.
- Drain on paper towel and serve hot with your choice of dipping sauce.
