Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo

- 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into strips or cubes shopping list
- 1 tablespoon olive oil shopping list
- 4 slices bacon shopping list
- 8 oz. fettuccine shopping list
- ½ cup butter shopping list
- ½ cup cream or half and half shopping list
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese shopping list
- 1 tablespoon parsley flakes shopping list
- Salt and pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Cook bacon until crispy
- Remove from pan and drain on paper towels.
- Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta, and cook for 8 to 10 minutes, or until al dente; drain.
- While pasta is cooking, saute chicken in olive oil until juices run clear.
- Remove chicken from pan and set aside.
- Heat butter and cream in pan over low heat until butter is melted.
- Add cheese, parsley, salt & pepper and stir until cheese is melted.
- Serve cheese sauce over fettuccine with chicken. Crumble bacon on top. Top with more grated parmesan cheese if desired.
