Creamy Mushroom And Wild Rice Soup Mix

- For the Jar: shopping list
- 1 package (2.75 oz.) Country Gravy mix shopping list
- 2 teaspoons dried minced onion shopping list
- 2 teaspoons dried celery flakes shopping list
- 1 teaspoon dried parlsey flakes shopping list
- ½ cup white rice shopping list
- ¾ cup (rice select royal blend, rice blend) shopping list
- 2 tablespoons coarsely chopped dried mushrooms such as shiitake shopping list
- For the Soup: shopping list
How to make it
- for the Jar:
- Pour gravy mix into wide mouth pint jar. In a small bowl combine, onion, celery, and parsley stir and pour into jar on top of the gravy mix making second layer. Add layers of white rice then royal blend. Then mushrooms. Put lid on jar and attach instructions.
- For the Soup:
- Ingredients
- 7 cups water
- 1 tablespoon chicken bouillon or chicken base
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ cup minced celery
- 1 jar soup mix
- Directions:
- 1. in a Dutch oven or stock pot, add olive oil and celery sauté for 5 minutes over medium low heat. Once softened. Add water and contents of jar and bouillon or base, bring to a boil. Reduce heat cover and simmer for 25 to 30 minutes or until rice is tender. Stirring occasionally. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
