- 2 TBS. butter/olive oil shopping list
- 1 1/2 # beef, sliced 3X1/4 inch shopping list
- 2 onions, sliced thin shopping list
- 1 # mushrooms, sliced thin shopping list
- 2 C. beef broth shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper shopping list
- 1 1/4 tsp. nutmeg shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. basil shopping list
- 2 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1 TBS cornstarch shopping list
- 1/4 C. water shopping list
- 2/3 C. sour cream shopping list
- 1 1/2 tsp. parsley shopping list
How to make it
- In large skillet heat butter/olive oil and brown beef. Add onions and cook until soft.
- Add mushrooms, broth, cayenne, black pepper, nutmeg, basil, and salt.
- Simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally, for 45 min, and liquid reduces to 1/2 C.
- Dissolve cornstarch in 1/4 C. water and stir into beef. Simmer, stirring, one minute.
- Remove from heat. Add sour cream and parsley.
- Serve over noodles.
