Creamy Swiss Chicken

- 1/2 lemon shopping list
- 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts shopping list
- 2 TBS. butter/ 2 TBS. evoo shopping list
- 8 oz. sliced mushrooms shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. basil shopping list
- splash of wine (into mushrooms) shopping list
- 1 can condensed cream of mushroom with roasted garlic soup (or cream of chicken) shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. dried dill weed shopping list
- 1 cup blush wine shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper shopping list
- 1 TBS. Dijon mustard shopping list
- 1/2 cup sour cream shopping list
- 4 slices Swiss cheese shopping list
- 3/4 cup seasoned croutons, crushed shopping list
How to make it
- Squeeze lemon over chicken and let stand for 30 min.
- Heat pan. Add butter and evoo, mushrooms basil, and wine. Saute until reduced.
- Arrange chicken in a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking dish. In a medium bowl mix soup, dill, wine, garlic, cayenne pepper, mustard and sour cream.
- Top each chicken breast with slices of Swiss cheese then mushrooms.Pour sour cream mixture evenly over the chicken. Sprinkle croutons on top.
- Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30-40 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and juices run clear.
