Val's Fat Burning Cabbage Soup

- 2 large bunches green onion, chopped shopping list
- 10 oz. mushrooms, sliced shopping list
- 2 bell peppers, diced shopping list
- 2 quarts (64 oz.) tomato juice shopping list
- 2 28 oz. cans whole, peeled tomatoes,with liquid, squished shopping list
- 1 bunch celery, diced shopping list
- 1 large head cabbage, chopped shopping list
- 1 package Lipton Onion Soup Mix shopping list
- 4 C. Better Than Bouillon (any flavor) shopping list
- 1 14 oz. can green beans, drained shopping list
- 1/2 pound baby carrots, chopped shopping list
- 4 bay leaves shopping list
How to make it
- Put all vegetables into pot. Cover with water or add 4 C. or so Better than Bouillon dissolved in water. Add extra water if needed. Boil fast for 10 minutes. Reduce heat and simmer for approximately 30 minutes until the veggies are tender. Add soup mix and simmer for at least 20 minutes. May be seasoned with salt and pepper.
