How to make it

  • 1- In a skillet cook the sausage until done, drain grease from sausage and set aside. In another skillet, put butter , onions and mushrooms and cook on medium for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • 2- In a large bowl crack eggs and add seasonings and milk and beat thoroughly.
  • 3- In a greased deep casserole dish, lay the bread, then the sausage, then the onions and mushrooms. Pour the egg mixture over the sausage mixture then lastly spread the cheese. Cover with lid and set in refrigerator over night.
  • 4- Preheat oven 350 degrees.Take casserole out of fridge and set on countertop for 30mins. Bake with lid off for 30mins. Take out of oven and let it sit for 10min. Then serve.
