Mom's Chocolate Frosting

- 1 stick butter or margarine = to 1/2 cup shopping list
- ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa such as Hershey’s shopping list
- 2 ½ to 3 cups confectioners’ sugar (powdered sugar) shopping list
- ½ cup cold unflavored coffee shopping list
How to make it
- 1. Add butter and cocoa to a small skillet over medium low heat, melt butter stirring occasionally to incorporate the cocoa.
- 2. In a medium sized bowl add the sugar.
- 3. Once the butter is melted and coco is incorporated pour mixture over sugar in bowl. With an electric hand mixer on low start mixing the ingredients together. Drizzle coffee into bowl mixture to get just the right frosting consistency. It will probably only take about 2 tablespoons.
- Notes: Mom used to frost graham crackers with this stuff. Best snack ever!!
