Gambas Pil - Pil

- 7 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil shopping list
- 4 cloves Garlic - very thinly sliced shopping list
- 1 Red Chilli - thinly sliced and seeded to taste and heat required shopping list
- 360g/12oz raw Prawns - peeled and deveined shopping list
- 2tbsp flat leaf Parsley - finely chopped shopping list
- Sprinkling ground Paprika shopping list
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper shopping list
- Lemons - cut into wedges shopping list
- Crusty bread shopping list
How to make it
- Heat the oil in a frying pan over a medium high heat;
- Add garlic and chilli and cook for about 1 minute, stirring, until the garlic just starts to brown but not burn;
- Add the prawns, season, add sprinkling of paprika and cook, stirring continuously, for a further 2 to 3 minutes or so or until they turn pink and are just cooked through;
- Remove from heat, stir in the parsley and serve the prawns in their sauce immediately in a warmed bowl - The prawns should still be sizzling in the sauce;
- Serve with the lemon wedges and crusty bread.
