- Crust: shopping list
- 1 1/3 cups all purpose flour shopping list
- ½ cup butter softened shopping list
- ¼ cup sugar shopping list

- Pecan Pie Bars: shopping list
- ¾ cup corn syrup shopping list
- ½ cup sugar shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 2 tablespoons all purpose flour shopping list
- ½ teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- 1 cup chopped pecans shopping list
- ½ cup semisweet chocolate chips shopping list
- Zesty Lemon Bars: shopping list
- ¾ cup sugar shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 2 tablespoons all purpose flour shopping list
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice shopping list
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder shopping list
- chocolate Toffee Bars: shopping list
- ½ cup semisweet or milk chocolate chips shopping list
- ½ cup butterscotch or vanilla milk chips shopping list
- ½ cup chopped pecans or other nuts (if desired) shopping list
How to make it
- Curst: Heat oven to 350 degrees. In small mixer bowl combine all crust ingredients. Beat at low speed until mixture is crumbly. Press on bottom of 9 inch square baking pan (except for chocolate toffee variation). Bake for 15 to 20 minutes (except for chocolate toffee variation) or until edges are lightly browned. Follow directions for filling variation below. Cool; cut into bars. (or break up the pieces don’t have to be uniform).
- Pecan Pie Bars:
- In small mixer bowl combine syrup, sugar, eggs, flour, and vanilla. Beat at medium speed until well mixed. By hand stir in pecans. Sprinkle semisweet chocolate chips over crust. Pour filling over hot crust. Continue baking for 30 to 35 minutes or until set. (20 bars).
- Zesty Lemon Bars:
- In a small mixer bowl combine sugar, eggs, four, lemon juice, and baking powder. Beat at low speed until well mixed. Pour filling over hot crust. Continue baking for 18 to 20 minutes or until filling is set. Cool slightly; sprinkle with powdered sugar. (20 bars).
- Chocolate Toffee Bars:
- Prepare crust ingredients as directed. Press firmly on bottom of 13X9 inch baking pan. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until crust is lightly browned. Immediately sprinkle chips evenly over crust. Let stand 3 to 5 minutes or until soft. Evenly swirl over crust with butter knife or back of a spoon. Sprinkle with nuts if using. (36 bars)
