Death By Chocolate Trifle

- 1 (19.8 ounce) package brownie mix shopping list
- 2 (3.9 ounce) packages instant chocolate pudding mix shopping list
- 1 (16 ounce) package frozen whipped topping, thawed shopping list
- 4 (1.4 ounce) bars chocolate covered English toffee shopping list
How to make it
- Prepare brownies according to package directions. Let cool. (I make them the day before I am going to serve)
- Mix pudding according to package directions.
- Cut brownies into small squares
- Put toffee bars into a plastic baggie and pound them into small pieces. I use my rolling pin to do this.
- In a glass trifle bowl, layer in the following order:
- 1/2 of the brownies, 1/2 of the pudding; 1/3 of the toffee bars and 1/2 of the whipped topping.
- Repeat layers in the same order.
- Finish with the remaining toffee bar sprinkled on top.
- Refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight.
