How to make it

  • Prepare brownies according to package directions. Let cool. (I make them the day before I am going to serve)
  • Mix pudding according to package directions.
  • Cut brownies into small squares
  • Put toffee bars into a plastic baggie and pound them into small pieces. I use my rolling pin to do this.
  • In a glass trifle bowl, layer in the following order:
  • 1/2 of the brownies, 1/2 of the pudding; 1/3 of the toffee bars and 1/2 of the whipped topping.
  • Repeat layers in the same order.
  • Finish with the remaining toffee bar sprinkled on top.
  • Refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight.
