Holiday Shortbread Cookies

- 5 cups flour shopping list
- 1 ¼ cups granulated sugar shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 pound (4 sticks) real butter, Cold, unsalted, cut into cubes shopping list
How to make it
- 1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- 2. Measure dry ingredients into a large bowl, or large food processor bowl, and cut or pulse (in food processor) cold butter into the flour mixture until it resembles fine crumbs.
- 3. Pour into 13 X 9 baking dish. Using the back of a measuring cup press cookie mixture into pan smoothing top.
- 4. Bake at for 50 minutes. Let cool enough to cut into cookies.
