How to make it

  • Steel knife: Process flour, and margarine with on/ off turns ( about2-3 seconds at a time) until the mixture looks like coarse oatmeal
  • Combine ginger ale with vinegar and add through feed tube while machine is running.
  • Process just until the dough begins to gather in a mass around the blade, about 8-10 seconds, do not over process.
  • Remove dough from machine, divide into two balls, wrap in waxed paper and chill in the fridge for at least one hour or over night.
  • The colder the dough, the easier it is to roll out.
  • Dough can be frozen baked or unbaked.
  • Ever since I have been using this pie crust recipe it turns out great every time. It truly is a no fail pie crust, and also great for pot pies.
