How to make it

  • 1. Put all of the ingredients except the ice in a suitable container. Remember to have room for the ice.
  • 2. Cover, put in a cool place and let stand for at least one hour, stirring occasionally.
  • 3. Add the ice and stir until chilled.
  • 4. Serve.
  • I normally put two or three ice cubes in each glass when I serve this and I keep the container covered so it doesn’t get watered down. Enjoy.
  • If you’re doing heaps of this, you can transfer some to a Sangria pitcher, so the guests can help themselves See Photo. Keep it covered, with a dish towel.
