Grannies’ Egg Nog

- • 6 eggs. shopping list
- • 2 cups heavy whipping cream. shopping list
- • 2 1/2 cups whole milk . shopping list
- • 1 cup sugar. shopping list
- • 1 cup dark rum. shopping list
- • 1/2 teas. vanilla extract. shopping list
- • 1/2 teas. Fresh ground Nutmeg shopping list
How to make it
- 1. Make sure all ingredients are cold when starting
- 2. In medium bowl beat eggs till frothy
- 3. Add sugar
- 4. Beat like mad
- 5. Sprinkle in nutmeg and
- 6. Add vanilla
- 7. Beat like your life depended on it
- 8. Add whipping cream a little at a time, don't quit beating
- 9. Next, add milk, small amounts at a time.....yeah, you beat it more
- 10. Lastly, beat in the good stuff, the Rum and Brandy.
- 11. Now, it will take about 2 hours for your arms to get any feeling back in them, so put the egg nog in refrigerator and chill approximately
- 12. 1-2 hours.
