How to make it

  • Soak almonds in water overnight, peel off the skin and blanch it. ( before peeling soak the almonds in hot water for mins, so it peels easily)
  • In a processor add almonds, saffron and milk and blend till smooth.
  • Heat bout 1 cup of ghee in pan, add the puree, stir in a low- medium heat.
  • Stir frequenly to avoid sticking at he bottom.
  • when the mixture thickens and begins to leave the sides of the pan, and some more ghee, cardamom powder and almond drops. Turn off the heat.
  • Put the halwa in a separate vessel.
  • Cool it ans serve.
