How to make it

  • Wash and drain the Rapini.
  • Steam about 5 minutes, until barley tender
  • Then heat the oil in a frying pan and stir fry for several minutes
  • Drain, sprinkle with salt and pepper and serve hot.
  • This is a vegetable we ate growing up, i sometimes add garlic to the oil.
  • Rapini is hard to find out here, but every once in a while i'll be lucky and find it, but not often enough.
  • The edible parts are the leaves, buds and stems.
  • They somewhat resemble Broccoli, but do not form a large head.
