How to make it

  • Boil some lightly salted water in a large pot, add the florets and cook for some 3 to 4 minutes or so until softish but still with some bite;
  • Sprinkle the garlic over the oil in a small frying pan and heat gently together until the garlic starts to sizzle and turn golden;
  • Remove from the heat and add the chilli;
  • Drain the vegetables, pour over the chilli garlic mixture, combine together and serve.
