White Chicken Chili

- 1 1/2 pounds cooked chicken breast, diced or shredded shopping list
- 2 medium onions, chopped shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic, minced shopping list
- 2 (4 oz) cans diced green chiles shopping list
- 4 cans white beans, drained (I used 2 cans northern, 1 can cannelini, and 1 can garbonzo beans) shopping list
- 2 tsp. cumin shopping list
- 1 tsp. oregano shopping list
- 1 tsp. pepper shopping list
- about 4 cups chicken broth shopping list
- 1 cup dry elbow macaroni shopping list
- 8 ounces cream cheese, cubed shopping list
How to make it
- 1. Cook onions in a bit of olive oil in your soup pot until soft. Add the minced garlic the last minute or so.
- 2. Add all the remaining ingredients except the cream cheese and simmer until well heated and the macaroni is done.
- 3. About 15 minutes before serving, add the cream cheese and stir in until dissolved. Serve.
