Ingredients

How to make it

  • 1. Get the BBQ going.
  • 2. Put the potatoes on to boil (steam).
  • 3. Assemble the beet and veggie salad.
  • 4. Rub a few drops of the Worcestershire sauce on each sausage (if using). I just use my hands for this.
  • 5. Paint the kielbasa and the BBQ grill with the olive oil.
  • 6. Pierce the kielbasa in several places with a fork and put on the barbe.
  • 7. Cook to desired doneness, turning now and then. I like 5-7 minutes with a medium hot fire for this. Yes, you can fry them.
  • 8. Finish the boiled (steamed) potatoes. Put the sausage and potatoes on a plate and put a dollop of sour cream on the spuds.
  • 9. Serve with the beet and veggie salad.
  • Serve with the usual crusty bread and vino or tea. Last time we had this fresh corn was in and we boiled up a couple ears of that to go with. Delicious.
