How to make it

  • 1. Whisk all ingredients together really well.
  • 2. Heat your griddle or skillet to medium hot and melt in 1 tsp. of the butter.
  • 3. Dip bread into egg mixture, flipping it a couple of times and place into your skillet.
  • 4. Fry on medium until golden brown, flip and fry the other side until golden brown.
  • 5. Do the rest of the batch, adding butter as needed and stirring the egg mixture now and then.
  • Serve with butter, syrup, honey or powdered sugar. Maybe some sweetened, whipped, heavy cream? Yep!
