How to make it

  • Bring all ingredients except for meat to a boil. Allow to cool before pouring over meat. Soak meat in brine for 5 hours, turning every hour.
  • Dry in a 200 degree oven for 8 hours or overnight. Prop oven door open so moisture escapes. Turn every three hours while drying.
  • Before storing, make sure jerky is cooled.
