From elgourmand2 7 years agoIngredients
- • 1 cup of room temperature water. shopping list
- • 1 Tbs. of olive oil. shopping list
- • 1 Tbs. cornmeal. shopping list
- • 1/2 tsp. sugar. shopping list
- • 1/2 tsp. salt. shopping list
- • 1 Tbs. basil. shopping list
- • 1 1/2 tsp. oregano. shopping list
- • 3 cups of bread flour. shopping list
- • 1 1/2 tsp. yeast. shopping list
How to make it
- 1. Put the ingredients in your bread machine (or stand mixer) pan in the order the machine instructions call for. Usually this is liquids first, then flour, sugar, salt, etc. and yeast last.
- 2. Set the machine to make dough. This usually just mixes and then kneads the ingredients.
- 3. When your bread machine is finished kneading, etc., let the dough rest in the pan and rise a bit, about 30 minutes.
- 4. Remove the dough from the pan, punch it down, place it on a lightly floured board and roll it out slightly larger than the size you want.
- 5. Move it to an oiled pizza pan or stone and turn the extra dough under itself, and pinch in place, to form a lip or raised edge.
- 6. Cover and let rise for about 30 minutes.
- 7. While you’re waiting, get all your topping stuff ready; slice, dice, grate, etc.
- 8. When the dough has rested 30 minutes turn on the oven to 425° F (220° C).
- 9. Put the sauce, cheese and toppings (homemade or store bought) on your pizza crust and bake for about 20-25 minutes or till nicely done and sizzling on top.
- 10. Remove from the oven, let rest 5 minutes, slice and serve.
