Roast Asparagus With Pancetta

- Roast Asparagus with Pancetta shopping list
- 2tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil - plus extra for drizzling shopping list
- 300g/10oz to 450g/1lb Asparagus - trimmed and peeled shopping list
- 30g/1oz to 45g/1½oz Pancetta - cut into strips - to taste shopping list
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat Oven to 200c/400f/Gas 6;
- Toss the asparagus, pancetta, oil, salt and pepper together in an oven proof dish or oven foil dish - large enough to accommodate the asparagus in a single layer ;
- Once laid as required with the pancetta sprinkled over, roast the asparagus, turning once or twice, in the oven for some 15 to 20 minutes or until the asparagus is tender and the pancetta golden;
